It would be unfair to
say that the three men were hypochondriacs: it was simply that they
suffered from a constant malaise, consisting of every symptom but
housemaid’s knee. The only cure for it was a revitalizing river trip
in an open boat.
Three Men in a Boat, Jerome K Jerome’s classic tale from 1889 is
brought to life by Adaptable Theatre.
This highly successful touring production has attracted audiences aged
three to ninety-three.
You are invited to join Harris, George, J and their dog Montmorency as
they embark on their hilarious adventures on the river Thames .
Bearing frying pans, elusive can-openers, food hampers, lemonade and
whisky ( for medicinal purposes only) the Three Men take you on a
river trip that you will never forget. You may be offered scrambled
egg by Harris or you could be given a rather nice glass of claret. You
will certainly be given a cheery welcome by this warm and convivial
company.
