Exeter College
Big Band returns to the Barnfield for the climax of its year, The Big
Gig 2010. As ever, the show will feature an exciting mixture of the
swingiest songs and up-tempo band features, with up-and-coming young
vocalists and jazz soloists. The show will include the band roaring
through such favourites as Big Swing Face from the Buddy Rich band and
Dizzy Gillespie's A Night In Tunisia. The songs will include such
tunes as the Frank Sinatra classics That's Life, I Get A Kick Out Of
You, and Let's Face The Music And Dance.
This year is a special occasion, as we are celebrating twenty-five
years of Exeter College Big Band with Io Pugh at the helm. As ever,
with the shows from the Exeter College Big Band, tickets will be in
hot demand! |
