Rich Wilson
Rich Wilson has loved comedy ever since his older nextdoor
neighbour gave him
a
cassette of Eddie Murphy-Delirious."It was the most mind blowing
thing I'd ever
heard.My
young ears had never heard language like it."
His comedy asperations lay dorment until he got a job as a
barman at a comedy
club in Greenwich,South
London, called Up The Creek.
"It was the most amazing job ever.I was in awe of the comics
that appeared every
weekend."
After getting friendly with a few of the comics,a couple of them
suggested that he should give comedy a go himself and so in
October of 2004,Rich took his first tentative steps out onto the
comedy circuit at a club called The Bullingdon. "I was
booked to do five minutes and I managed about two and a half
before I legged it.
I've
never known fear like it."
Since
then Rich hasn't looked back.He is a regular at all the major
comedy clubs up
and down
the country including Jongleurs,The Comedy Cafe and The Big
Night Out,to name but a few.
As
well as being able to deliver a good strong set, with subject
matters ranging from being a young father to observational
material on the obsurdities of life in general,he is rapidly
becoming one of the most
in
demand comperes in the country with his ability to think on his
feet and tame even the toughest of crowds with his
likable,charming manner.

Anthony King
Anthony is an outwardly normal looking bloke who turned to
comedy after he was disowned by the Catholic Church for
confessing in too much detail. Having finally found a use for
his twisted sense of humour, Anthony has gone on to perform at
all the major comedy clubs across the UK and beyond, including
performances in the Netherlands, Dubai, Majorca, Abu Dhabi and
Al Ain.
Anthony's devilishly droll deadpan humour, masterful timing and
delivery of a stream of one-liners combine to make him one of
the most polished performers on the circuit. His act is a
combination of his own true-life experiences mixed in with a
whole bunch of lies.
Anthony's gigs have not been confined to the small stage; he has
also made numerous appearances on TV. These include Granada's
MAD FOR IT, Meridian's HOUSE OF FUN, UK Gold's LIVE AT JONGLEURS
and he also took part in a live internet broadcast called LIVE
FROM LONDON.
As
well as his stand-up performances, Anthony is also well known
for his writing skills. Credits include a sketch show for
Granada, a series of bizarre short stories and a pilot sitcom
for Radio 4. He was also chosen to be part of THE COMEDY
FACTORY, which was a team of writers brought together by Carlton
and KDR Productions to develop and script various ideas for
television. Projects included a sketch show, a quiz show, a
cabaret show, a sitcom and a very tongue-in-cheek documentary.
After being approached by the city council, Anthony has been
setting up courses of comedy workshops in his hometown of
Leicester. These workshops have been running since 2003, have
proved to be hugely popular and have already produced comedians
that have gone on to perform to critical acclaim, both
nationwide and locally.

Gerry K
Anecdotal, observational and refreshingly honest, Gerry K first
hit the stage in 2003 and has raised the roof with laughter ever
since. An energetic and likeable personality, Gerry’s performed
across the UK and abroad at The Comedy Club, Jongleurs, The
Comedy Store, CKP and many more top circuit venues, not to
mention winning his honours along the way; The Comedy Store’s
‘King Gong’, Metrolife Comedy Newcomer, and The Comedy Café’s
Best Newcomer Awards. Following recent successes, Gerry’s
performed several headline spots and now performs regularly at
many corporate events. Seen his face before? Gerry’s acted on
The Bill (ITV), Angelo’s (ITV) and even hosted the football
forum with Jeff Stelling and Rodney Marsh for
Zoo
Magazine…that might have something to do with it!

The Raymond and Mr Timpkins Revue
"Enough silliness to fill a pillow" EVENING STANDARD
From
the sunny side of Planet Twat comes the unique character comedy
that is THE RAYMOND AND MISTER TIMPKINS REVUE, and this
charasmatically-challenged uncle / mute nephew co-operative
invite you to their disturbing world of brushed velvet arousal.
It's freakish entertainment on a twisted stick, incorporating
inimitable acoustic guitar / stylophone driven rock anthems
coupled with a plethora of prop-assisted material that's busier
than a wasp in a fat child's lunchbox and which has, in turn,
made them popular in curry houses across the commonwealth.
Together since 1992, their highly original performance approach
has made them regulars in Universities and comedy clubs around
the country, including appearances at the Edinburgh (Where they
appeared in 'The Best of the Fringe'), Glastonbury, Phoenix and
Reading festivals. They have appeared on Carlton TV's 'The
Warehouse', BBC Choice's 'Lenny Beige's Variety Pack', Men At
Work Productions' 'Raymann is Latt' (a hugely popular Dutch
comedy show) and are currently writing their own sitcom which
has left them as hotly-tipped as a Carmen curling tong up the
anus.
