Onboard HMS Pinafore, anchored off Portsmouth, the captain’s daughter
has fallen madly in love with a ‘common’ sailor, but her father plans
for her to marry the First Lord of the Admiralty.
Meanwhile, in the High Court a corrupt and worldly Learned Judge is
about to hear a case of breach of promise. Of course, he and the jury
are completely unbiased!
